Which blind for which room?
- Roller blinds are simple, tidy and cover the window in one piece. A good default for bedrooms and lounges.
- Sheer roller blinds let daylight in but cut the glare and stop people seeing in during the day. The usual choice for lounges.
- Aluminium venetians let you angle the slats, so you get light without being looked in on. They wipe clean and stand up to steam, which is why they are common in kitchens, bathrooms and rentals.

How much does blind installation cost in Auckland?

Is there a call-out fee?
Yes, $80 per visit, on top of the blind prices. It is charged once per visit, however many windows we do.
Is the blind included in the price?
Yes. The prices cover the blind, the brackets and the fitting. You do not need to buy anything first.
What about very wide or tall windows?
Windows over 210cm wide, roller blinds over 210cm drop (240cm for sheer), venetians over 150cm drop, ranch sliders and floor-to-ceiling glass are measured and quoted. Send the sizes or a photo and we confirm a fixed price before we start.
How long does it take?
About an hour and a half for a roller blind, and 30 minutes to an hour for a venetian, depending on width.
Do you replace blinds in rental properties?
Yes, for landlords and property managers, usually between tenants. We can do it in the same visit as cleaning or repairs, and send completion photos with an itemised GST invoice.
